Garage epoxy floors built for BC weather

Bare concrete dusts, stains and soaks up whatever drips off the car. A properly installed coating seals it, so oil, salt and wet tires wipe or hose off, and the garage finally looks finished.

Garage epoxy floors built for BC weather

Our garage system

  • Diamond grinding, not acid etching, so the coating can bond.
  • Crack and pit repair before any coating goes down.
  • Epoxy base coat with decorative flake, which hides dust and small marks and adds grip.
  • Clear, UV-stable topcoat that resists fuel, oil and hot-tire pickup.

Is it right for your garage?

It's a good fit if the slab is sound and you want a clean, low-maintenance floor. If moisture or slab condition means a different approach, or coating isn't worth it, we'll tell you.

Care

Sweep regularly and wash with mild soap and water. See our maintenance tips.

The process

  1. Send photos and size through the quote form.
  2. We confirm the scope, check the concrete, and give you a written quote.
  3. Install, then we go over cure times and care with you.

What customers say

“Fraser Plus Epoxy did a great job epoxy coating my garage floor. The results were beyond my expectations. They are very detail oriented and I just couldn't find any bad spots anywhere on the floor. What pushed the job beyond my expectation were their accurate estimations and clear explanation of the process. Sunny was always on time and finished the job before ETA.”

Common questions

How soon can I walk or drive on a new epoxy floor?

Light foot traffic is usually fine after about a day. Vehicles typically need to wait longer, often a few days, so the coating can fully harden. Cure times depend on the products used and on temperature: cold garages cure more slowly.

We'll tell you exactly when you can walk on it and park on it for your floor.

Does epoxy flooring crack or peel?

A properly installed floor shouldn't peel. Peeling almost always comes from poor prep, moisture coming up through the slab, or a thin, low-quality product. Cracks in the concrete underneath can show through over time, so we repair existing cracks before coating.

Is epoxy flooring slippery when wet?

A smooth, glossy coating can be slippery when wet. Flake finishes are naturally grippier, and an anti-slip additive in the topcoat adds more traction. For garages in rainy BC, and for commercial kitchens, we normally recommend some texture.
