Metallic epoxy floors

Metallic epoxy creates a seamless, high-gloss finish with depth and movement. It can look like marble, liquid metal or something entirely custom. No two floors look the same.

Metallic epoxy floors

Where it works best

  • Showcase garages
  • Basements, gyms and entertainment rooms
  • Showrooms, offices and retail

What to know

Metallic floors are hand-worked, so the result depends on the installer's skill and the prep underneath. High gloss shows scratches more than flake does, and we can add texture for grip where needed.

The process

  1. Send photos and size through the quote form.
  2. We confirm the scope, check the concrete, and give you a written quote.
  3. Install, then we go over cure times and care with you.

What customers say

“Fraser Plus Epoxy did a great job epoxy coating my garage floor. The results were beyond my expectations. They are very detail oriented and I just couldn't find any bad spots anywhere on the floor. What pushed the job beyond my expectation were their accurate estimations and clear explanation of the process. Sunny was always on time and finished the job before ETA.”

Common questions

What are the different types of epoxy floor finishes?

The main options are solid colour, decorative flake (full or partial broadcast), and metallic. Commercial floors may also use quartz-filled or self-levelling systems. Topcoats can be glossy or satin, with or without anti-slip texture.

What colours and flake options are available?

There's a wide range, from greys and tans to bold blends and custom metallic colours. Lighter, mixed flake blends hide dust and tire marks best. Ask for samples with your quote.

Is epoxy flooring slippery when wet?

A smooth, glossy coating can be slippery when wet. Flake finishes are naturally grippier, and an anti-slip additive in the topcoat adds more traction. For garages in rainy BC, and for commercial kitchens, we normally recommend some texture.
